Senior iOS Engineer

At SIROC we are looking for an Senior iOS Engineer to join our worldwide team. As an iOS Engineer, you will play a necessary role in our team, focusing on building iOS apps and working together with our engineers, project managers, designers, and venture investors. Your ability to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest iOS updates will play a key role in the success of our experimental SaaS and B2B products and the digital AI transformation of our customers.

🎯 What You’ll Do

Build and maintain native iOS applications.
Work hand in hand with our designers to ensure designs are compliant with iOS guidelines and with UI frameworks such as SwiftUI or UIKit.
Implement user interfaces in both SwiftUI (mostly) and UIKit.
Implement data business logic, ensuring thread safety and low memory pressure.
Ensure scalability, flexibility, and maintainability of the implemented applications.
Proactively assess and ensure code quality by using appropriate tools and principles.
Proactively communicating with colleagues to refine application design.
Writing meaningful clean code and doing code reviews.
Assisting your colleagues to achieve their goals.

🤩 What We Expect From You

Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar is highly desirable.
Deeply familiarized with the Xcode build process.
Advanced understanding of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
Experience with Async/Await and Grand Central Dispatch.
Objective-C knowledge is highly valued, but not required.
Experience on specific frameworks as Maps, GPS, and others will be appreciated.
Experience with Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE is valued.
Experience with Kotlin is a good plus, but not required.
Extra points for having worked on Kotlin Multiplatform in the iOS ecosystem.
Ability to motivate, encourage, persuade, increase cooperation and reduce tension among team members.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute within a high-pressure environment.
