Engineering Lead

At SIROC, we are looking for an Engineering Lead to join our worldwide team. As an Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in our team, orchestrating and leading our engineering team in coordination with project managers, designers, customers, and venture investors. Your ability to empower people and lead technology will play a key role in the success of our experimental SaaS and B2B products and the digital AI transformation of our customers.

🎯 What You’ll Do

Oversee the development of software solutions.
Enhance and maintain highly scalable cross-platform infrastructures to ensure flexibility and maintainability of implemented applications.
Bring vision and consistency to the team's engineering project.
Lead and mentor a distributed team of software engineers, creating an environment of accountability where every engineer contributes and adds value.
Challenge existing solutions and processes, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of our solutions.
Coordinate deployment, CLI pipelines, and automated testing.
Participate in product definition workshops and customer discussions, bringing technical expertise to project definitions.
Proactively communicate with business leaders.

🤩 What We Expect From You

Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A university degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field is highly desirable.
Extensive experience in software engineering, especially in the development of cross-platform infrastructures and AI/ML technologies.
Strong and proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse and remote teams.
A passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
Proficiency in working with Git, defining pipelines, GitHub actions, and continuous integration.
Expertise working in a Python environment.
Deep understanding of building APIs, SQL databases, and various frameworks such as Redis, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Celery, and others.
Proficiency in Docker, Docker-Compose, and DevOps.
Experience in Kotlin or Java is valued but not required.
Ability to motivate, encourage, persuade, increase collaboration, and reduce tension among team members.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute in a high-pressure environment.
